Heute habe ich wieder mal ein neues Lieblingsteil fertig gestellt. Es hat mich wirklich viel Ausdauer und Durchhaltevermögen gekostet bei diesem Projekt am Ball zu bleiben. Im September habe ich pünktlich zum Start beim Knit-a-long von Isabell Krämer teilgenommen. Das heißt man suchte sich ein Design von Isabell aus und begann ab dem 9.9. mit dem Stricken. Deadline für diesen KAL ist der 12.12., also übermorgen! Hui, da hab ich es ja gerade noch geschafft und bin just in time fertig damit.
Ein paar Änderungen zum Originalmuster habe ich vorgenommen. Am auffälligsten sind mit Sicherheit die kurzen Ärmel. Eigentlich handelt es sich bei diesem Muster „Ravello“ um einen Pullover. Doch die Wolle, die ich ausgesucht habe, hat letztlich die Entscheidung hin zum T-Shirt gebracht. ITO Kinu – ein dünnes Garn aus reiner Seide – ist so federleicht und angenehm kühl auf der Haut, dass ich dieses Oberteil eher im Sommer als im Winter tragen werde. Deshalb nun kurze Ärmel 😉
Und dann wollte ich dem Ganzen noch einen extra chilligen Touch geben. Also habe ich in der Mitte der Vorderseite Maschen aufgenommen, zunächst stillgelegt und dann zu einer großen Fronttasche ausgearbeitet.
Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Ergebnis mehr als zufrieden. Gefühlt waren es eine Milliarde Maschen, die hier verstrickt wurden 🙂 das nächste anstehende Projekt wird mit Sicherheit mit dickerer Wolle sein!
Today I’m done with another favorite project. It really cost me endurance to stay tuned to this project. In September I started right in time within Isabell Krämer’s knit along. That meant, I had to choose a pattern from Isabell and started from Sept, 9th with knitting. Deadline for this KAL was Dec, 12th, what means the day after tomorrow! Puh, at least I finished just in time.
I did some changes to the original pattern. The most obvious are for sure the short sleeves. Actually this pattern „Ravello“ is a pullover. But the yarn I choosed for it finally made the decision to work a T-Shirt. ITO KINU – a really skinny yarn made of pure silk – is so light and cool to wear on the skin, that I will wear it more in summer than winter. Therefore I decided to work short sleeves 😉
And then I wanted to give it an extra casual look. In the middle of the body I added lots of stitches between the normal ones, put them away ´til I finished all of the body down and then worked the extra stitches to a front pocket.
In total I am more than satisfied with the result. It felt like I had to work a billion of stitches 🙂 and I am sure the next project I will work will have bulky yarn!
